1980 The Easton Press Edition

What a true first shows: The Decameron was first printed in Florence c.1469-1470; the first English translation (the anonymous 1620 version used here) appeared in London in 1620; this Fritz Kredel-illustrated edition was first issued by The George Macy Companies, New York, 1940 (© 1968). The present volume is the 1980 Easton Press leather-bound reprint of that edition.

Photographs show the exact copy you will receive. Every flaw we found is listed above; if we missed one, the return is on us.
